My name is Fraser Henerson. I am currently working across the UK for The Consultation Institute and Darzin Software (Australian Company). I occasionally work for CDI Alliance and as a freelancer on local economic development projects.
This website is a summary of my work experience, education and past projects. My key interests are in new and emerging technologies, politics, the role of public participation in building democracy, digital government, strategic communications and the interaction between civil society and government.
However, I'm also into hardware - from smart homes to drones and 3D printers. I'm a dab hand at audio and video production too (Ableton).
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Salford and won the European Political Technologies award in 2012 for my work on ePetitions.
I've previously been employed by (in no particular order) - Balfour Beatty, Philips Research, The Wolrd Bank, Dept.BIS & The office of the Deputy PM and The Consumers' Association Research & Testing Centre.
I've worked for even more people - such as various CCGs, the Chinese Government, The EU and European Parliament, RWE, Ricardo AEA....
Here's a bunch of web stuff that I've made in my spare time
I have mainly worked on new & emerging technology projects/policy in the public sector (worldwide including North Africa & China) - however, I also have experience of technical testing & research in the field of consumer electronics.
